Explore the wonders of space with this interactive Solar System Kit! It includes the sun, eight planets, and various smaller bodies, giving kids a hands-on way to learn about our solar system. The sun, the largest object in our system, is at the center, with the eight planets orbiting around it.
This model helps to demonstrate the relative sizes of the planets and the vastness of space, with each planet represented to scale along with Earth’s moon and a small fraction of the sun. The kit also features 6-inch letters with the names of each planet, the moon, and the sun, helping children learn the planets' names and their order from the sun.
At the same scale, the sun would be a 28-foot diameter circle and you would need approximately 17 miles to lie out the solar system correctly!
