Frequently Asked Questions
1. How long does the paint last?
We use high-quality, solvent-based traffic paint specifically designed for asphalt and concrete surfaces. While we can't offer exact guarantees due to varying traffic conditions, here's a general estimate:
Standard playground use (foot traffic, games, biking, skateboarding, typical recess activities): Expect the paint to last around 4 to 5 years.
Areas with vehicle traffic or frequent snow removal: The paint typically lasts around 3 years.
Think of it like this: a busy drive-thru at a fast-food restaurant needs annual repainting because of constant vehicle wear. Playgrounds, on the other hand, generally experience much less wear and tear.
2. What colors are available?
We offer a broad spectrum of vibrant colors—virtually every shade in the rainbow! Our selection includes:
White, Black, Yellow, Traffic Yellow, Blue, Light Blue, Orange, Red, Cardinal Red, Green, Forest Green, Pink, Purple, Maroon, Burgundy, and Gold.
3. Do you repaint older or faded games?
Absolutely! We're more than happy to refresh and restore existing game layouts with a new coat of paint.
4. Is there a minimum order value?
Yes, our standard minimum order is $1000 before tax.
5. How much does each stencil application cost?
Pricing varies depending on the stencil and project size. Please contact us for a personalized quote. We’re happy to customize a game package that fits your needs and budget.
6. Can you paint on older or uneven pavement?
Yes, we can! We take extra care when working on older or uneven surfaces. Our process includes:
Taping and weighing down stencils to ensure they conform to the surface.
Thoroughly cleaning the area to remove dirt, pebbles, and debris.
However, if the pavement has significant cracks with exposed dirt, the paint may not adhere well in those areas. Even so, our bold, colorful stencils are a great way to brighten and revitalize worn-out pavement.
