Shuffleboard Court
Available from PlanIt Playgrounds or Fast Line
Shuffleboard is a fun, skill-building game where players take turns sliding their weights down the court, aiming to land them in scoring positions while also strategically knocking their opponent’s weights out of play.
The game begins with a coin toss to decide who starts, and from there, the winner of each round (or "end") starts the next. Players slide their four weights alternately, making sure each weight crosses the first line to count.
Points are scored based on where the weight lands: 1 point for a weight on or between the near line, 2 points for one on the far line or between the far line and the end of the court, and 3 points for a weight hanging off the edge. If no weights are in scoring positions, the weight closest to the near line scores 1 point.
For two players, the first to reach 11 points wins, though the target score may be adjusted for more players.
